Woven Wood Shades Buying Guide
Weaves, stains, liners, and which widths are hardest to find.
Read the weave
Open weaves glow. Tight weaves read more like millwork and offer more privacy. Neither is better — they do different jobs.
Color
Natural and honey sit well with oak and walnut. Gray-driftwood stains calm cooler rooms. Always look at a material photo in daylight; website whites lie.
Sizes that disappear
36" and 35" move first. Odd widths like 27" and 39" are often the quiet bargains because fewer people search for them — even though plenty of houses have them.
